T-12 Fluorescent Lamp Phase Out

Effective July 14, 2012, production of most T-12 fluorescent lamps will be phased out, as mandated by the 2009 Department of Energy General Service Lamp legislation. Given these changes, along with the elimination of many T-12 magnetic ballasts - this is a great opportunity to update with LED tubes that require no LED driver or ballast. With our T-12 replacement program you will get state-of-the art, energy efficient, mercury free LED lighting which makes this transition easy and affordable. We even will recycle your old fluorescent tubes and ballasts for free! Call us today to find out more about replacement programs.

Tip: The simplest way to tell if you have T-12 lighting in your facility is to look at the end of a fluorescent tube. If it is 1-1/2 inch in diameter, it is likely an inefficient T-12 lamp.
Lamps phased out as of July 14, 2012 include:
• Most 4-ft. linear full-wattage and energy-saving T-12 lamps
• All 2-ft. full-wattage and energy-saving U-shaped T-12 lamps
• All 75W F96T12 and 110W F96T12HO lamps
• Most 60W F96T12/ES and 95W F96T12/ES/HO lamps
• All 4-ft. T8 basic-grade 700/SP series lamps rated at 2,800 lumens

Our T8 white LED fluorescent replacement tube is designed to replace medium bi-pin T8 and T12 fluorescent tubes. SC-FT-T8 fits directly into most fluorescent fixtures providing a simple upgrade to high quality LED lighting. SC-FT-T8 is optimized to provide light outputs comparable to fluorescent and delivers the immediate benefits of white-LED lighting; long lifetimes, no maintenance, high efficiency, no mercury, no recycling, no flickering, no buzzing, instant start, cold temperature operation, and high quality light. It provides energy savings of up to 75% over fluorescent applications that require long hours with low occupancy rates such as stairwells, corridors, warehouses, and remote locations.
